Prof. Daniel Meron

I work with people who carry responsibility in complex systems and who value clarity, judgement, and thoughtful action. My background spans senior executive leadership, clinical practice, and long-standing reflective inquiry, which informs how I work rather than what I deliver.

I do not work from a fixed programme or set of techniques. Each engagement is shaped collaboratively, with careful attention to the person, their role, and the wider system they are part of.

My practice is grounded in over 1,000 hours of executive and leadership coaching, including 500+ hours in the past two years. I work within clear ethical boundaries, with formal contracting, and maintain regular professional supervision to ensure the highest standards of practice

COACHING APPROACH
How I Work

My coaching approach is integrative, relational, and systems-informed. It draws on:

  • Systemic and organisational perspectives — attending to the wider context within which clients lead and work

  • Psychodynamic and relational understanding — including concepts from Cognitive Analytic Therapy that illuminate patterns, roles, and relational dynamics

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts-aware inquiry — supporting clients to work with inner complexity with curiosity and compassion

  • Reflective and mindfulness-informed approaches — grounded in over 40 years of personal contemplative practice

  • Contemporary executive and leadership coaching frameworks

Coaching is non-directive and inquiry-led, with attention to both individual patterns and the wider systems within which clients work. The emphasis is on developing awareness, judgement, and capacity to work skilfully with complexity — rather than primarily on technique or performance optimisation.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Supervision and Reflective Practice

I engage in monthly professional coaching supervision, using a mixed individual and group format. Supervision is provided by appropriately experienced supervisors with relevant coaching, leadership, and clinical backgrounds, ensuring reflective challenge and ethical oversight appropriate to the scope of the work.

I maintain an active reflective practice, including structured reflection following coaching engagements, peer consultation, and supervision. Reflective writing and professional dialogue support ethical awareness, learning, and ongoing development of my coaching practice.

Practice is conducted in alignment with the EMCC Global Code of Ethics, and informed by professional standards from both clinical and coaching contexts.
